W. L. Peters Appliance Company was founded by Wilfried Leo Peters and was established in the summer of 1969 in the town of Prescott, Ontario, Canada.

He started out with a simple store location that sold Appliances, Electronics and Had Movie Rentals. Eventually he opened a second location that was strictly a Furniture store that sold the case goods, upholstered items as well as mattress sets. As well as a third location in Iroquois that combined products.

As his business grew he purchased a large location and consolidated and amalgamated all the merchandise together under one roof at 131 King Street, West in Prescott.

In this location their is a section for all the Appliances, Bedroom Suites, Seasonal BBQ's and Air Conditioners, Dining Area, Furniture and a section for the Mattress Sets.
